Job summary

Curtiss-Wright Engineered Pump Division (EPD) in Bethlehem, PA is seeking a Production Planner to manage all planning activities for pump projects. You will time-phase requirements, coordinate material movement with cross-functional teams, and support the Integrated Master Schedule. Must have a degree and 3+ years planning experience, with ERP expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
• Minimum 3 years in production, material, or project planning (BOM structure).
• Defense industry experience preferred.
• Government contracting knowledge is a plus.
• Understanding of supply chain management concepts in planning, scheduling, purchasing, supplier selection, inventory control, and logistics.
• Experience with Oracle or similar ERP system is an asset.
• Experience working in project teams.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all planning activities for EPD pump projects.
• Time-phase manufacturing requirements to support the Integrated Master Schedule.
• Determine material requirements from engineering and due dates.
• Coordinate movement of materials with purchasing, quality, production, engineering, testing and scheduling.
• Plan parts requirements for layouts, kitting and assemblies.
• Prepare work orders and purchase requisitions based on master production schedule and shop load.
• Assist management in resolving over-shipments, shortages, and engineering changes.
• Monitor status-to-plan data.
• May lead activities of non-exempt personnel.
• Recommend inventory levels to meet project needs.
