Job summary

Curtiss-Wright Engineered Pump Division (EPD) in Bethlehem, PA seeks a Production Planner to manage planning for pump projects, align with the Integrated Master Schedule, and coordinate across purchasing, quality, engineering, and operations. The role emphasizes BOM-based planning,_supplier collaboration, and process improvement.

Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree, 3+ years in planning, defense industry exposure, and familiarity with Oracle or similar ERP systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
Minimum of 3 years of production, material, or project planning experience (BOM structure).
Defense Industry experience preferred.
Knowledge of Government contracting projects.
Understanding of supply chain planning, scheduling, purchasing, supplier selection, inventory control, and logistics.
Experience with Oracle or similar ERP system is a plus.
Experience working in project teams and with strategic sourcing.
Lean and/or Six-Sigma experience is preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; proactive and collaborative.
Self-starter, motivated and results-driven.

Responsibilities

Responsible for all planning activities relative to EPD pump projects.
Review engineering requirements and time-phase to support the Integrated Master Schedule.
Determine material requirements from engineering and production schedules.
Coordinate movement of materials with purchasing, quality, production, engineering, testing, and scheduling.
Plan parts requirements for layouts (kitting) and assemblies.
Prepare work orders and purchase requisitions based on master production schedule and inventory.
Prepare routings, pick lists, and shop job packets.
Assist management in resolving over-shipments, shortages, engineering changes, and cancellations.
Monitor and record status-to-plan data; lead non-exempt personnel as needed.
Recommend inventory levels to meet project requirements.
