LMR Technical Group in Norfolk, VA seeks an experienced Production Controller II to support MARMC ship repair programs, coordinating cost estimation, schedule integration, and execution of maintenance work packages.

The role bridges data collection and production, ensures compliance with Navy standards, and provides cross-functional support to program managers and ship teams. Candidates should have extensive shipboard systems experience and clearance eligibility for a defense environment.

Competenze

• Minimum education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Eight+ years of full-time hands-on technical shipboard experience.
• Working knowledge of Naval equipment, missions, and Navy data standards.
• Ability to interpret detailed specifications and alteration data for shipboard modernization.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office for data entry and document management.
• Must be eligible for Secret clearance (U.S. citizenship required).

Mansioni

• Primary planner for repair tasking and alignment with engineering standards and deadlines.
• Develop Work Packages: use NMD/VSB to assemble work notifications and draft SOWs/E-specifications.
• Ensure compliance using JFMM, FDG, and GSO.
• Perform Quality Assurance: WSRs, field inspections, CFR/RCC reviews.
• Manage material lifecycle from BOMs to vendor quotes and lead times.
• Prepare labor and material cost estimates and monitor progress with Gantt charts.
• Verify AIT readiness and ensure test plans are completed.
• Support program management with briefings and progress reviews.
• Contribute to MOAs/MOUs and standard operating procedures.
