Scientific Research Corporation in Charleston, SC is seeking a Production Planner to develop and maintain master production schedules for shipboard Navy systems.

You will use CMPro and MS Office to manage material availability, coordinate BOM accuracy with procurement, and align labor and equipment with program milestones. This role requires collaboration across Engineering, Production, and Supply Chain to drive on-time delivery and risk mitigation.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree plus at least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in MS Office (advanced Excel) and MS Project.
• Experience in electronics, mechanical, or cable assembly production planning.
• Experience with CMPro or similar defense MR P tools.
• Strong cross-functional coordination across departments.

Mansioni

• Developing, maintaining, and optimizing the master production plan with scheduling and revision control.
• Using CMPro and MS Office to plan material availability and resource allocation.
• Coordinate BOM accuracy and ensure timely procurement of long-lead components.
• Review drawings and wiring diagrams to determine labor requirements for scheduling.
• Track material, tools, and resources to ensure availability on the production floor.
• Analyze workflow to identify bottlenecks and support risk mitigation planning.
• Generate production summaries, KPIs, and milestone progress updates.
• Collaborate with Production to align staffing with schedules and resolve conflicts.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, safety standards, and government requirements.
• Communicate updates between Engineering, Production, and Procurement.
• Support continuous improvement by analyzing performance data.
