Job summary

TransChicago Truck Group seeks a National Account Manager to build strong relationships with assigned national accounts and coordinate parts, service, and aftermarket support across the Chicagoland area.

You’ll work with Daimler DTNA and TransChicago location leaders, traveling to account HQs to strengthen partnerships and ensure customer satisfaction while driving growth through proactive account plans.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; equivalent accepted.
• 5+ years of inside or outside sales experience.
• Must be comfortable presenting to C-suite and Executive-level stakeholders.
• Customer-focused mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Develop strong rapport with local branches of national accounts.
• Strengthen relationships with DTNA’s National Account Managers and customers.
• Understand customers’ current purchasing habits and align TransChicago offerings.
• Travel to national accounts’ HQs and locations to visit customers and meetings.
• Maintain clear communication with locations and customers for prompt issue resolution.
• Leverage CRM to track activity and support proactive outreach.
• Collaborate with DTNA partners to deepen trust and support for customers.
• Develop quarterly sales growth plans and identify opportunities to hit targets.
• Assist dealership locations with back-ordered parts and collections of past due accounts.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
