Job summary

Valor is seeking a Director of National Accounts and Conference Services to lead the full lifecycle of large group business at the hotel, including proactive sales, account development, and conference planning. You will manage a team of Conference Service Managers and drive revenue and flawless event execution for groups of 60+ peak room nights.

You will build strategic plans, negotiate contracts, and ensure exceptional guest experiences while aligning with hotel profitability goals and brand

Qualifications

• Two- to four-year college degree or equivalent education/experience.
• Strong leadership experience in hotel sales and conference services.
• Proven ability to solicit, book, and service large group business (60+ peak room nights).
• Excellent negotiation and client-service skills.

Responsibilities

• Sales & Business Development: identify, solicit, and close new group and national account business.
• Event Planning & Coordination: design and execute successful events meeting client objectives and hotel standards.
• Team Leadership & Management: coach, develop, and supervise Conference Service Managers.
