Job summary

Valor is seeking a Director of National Accounts and Conference Services to lead the lifecycle of large group business, from proactive solicitation to planning, execution, and service recovery. You will oversee a team of Conference Service Managers and drive revenue growth in national accounts.

Responsibilities include strategic account planning, contract negotiations, and ensuring flawless event execution that meets client expectations and hotel profitability goals.

Qualifications

• Two- to four-year college degree or equivalent education/experience.
• Experience in hotel sales or conference services leadership and supervising others.
• Strong negotiation and client-service skills.
• Knowledge of Amadeus/Delphi, CRM systems, and contract creation.

Responsibilities

• Identify and close large group and national account business (60+ peak room nights).
• Coordinate with planners from booking to event execution to ensure client objectives are met.
• Lead and develop Conference Service Managers and oversee budgets and reporting.
• Ensure seamless communication across departments for flawless event delivery.
• Provide on-site support during events and post-event evaluations.
