Job summary

Valor Hospitality Partners is seeking a Conference Services Manager to serve as the primary liaison between clients and the hotel, ensuring seamless execution of meetings, conferences, and group events from contract to completion.

You will plan, organize, and manage all details for group room blocks, meeting logistics, catering coordination, and billing while driving revenue through strategic upselling and maintaining high client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience negotiating catering sales and upselling within hotel settings.
• Strong sales process knowledge and ability to drive revenue through group events.
• Excellent oral and written communication and effective sales presentations.
• Ability to manage complex projects, delegate tasks, and work with multiple departments.

Responsibilities

• Partner with meeting planners to design and execute events that meet objectives.
• Coordinate group blocks, meeting space, AV needs, catering, decor, and transportation.
• Create detailed BEOs and group resumes, share with operations teams.
• Communicate event details across departments to ensure flawless delivery.
• Build client relationships from planning through post‑event follow‑up.
• Upsell menus, enhancements, and ancillary services to maximize profitability.
