Job summary

Divergent in Torrance, CA seeks a Production Project Planner to partner with PMO, engineering, manufacturing and supply chain to build and maintain program schedules from proposal through part release and delivery.

The role scales across multiple material systems and factories, developing repeatable planning processes, aligning scope, lead times, and capacity to drive on-time performance while maintaining data-driven status reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience building and maintaining integrated program schedules with milestones and critical path.
• Proven track record in planning, operations, manufacturing, or supply chain management.
• Exposure to coordinating work across more than one production site, process, or material system.
• Experience using scheduling tools and ERP/MRP systems.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage workload to tight schedules.
• Knowledge of cross-functional planning with PMO, engineering, and logistics.

Responsibilities

• Partner with PMO and engineering during the proposal phase to develop detailed schedules and milestones.
• Continuously update the schedule as design progresses and communicate changes to stakeholders.
• Monitor real-time progress against the schedule; flag variances and drive corrective actions.
• Build and maintain multi-material program plans across sites to balance capacity and lead times.
• Define hand-off points and data requirements between sites and material streams.
• Develop planning processes for multi-factory programs and inter-site logistics.
• Collaborate with logistics and supply chain to embed logistics into the program schedule.
• Identify gaps in scheduling or supply-chain processes and codify improvements.
