Job summary

Divergent is seeking a Production Project Planner to synchronize design, release, and supply-chain activities across engineering, manufacturing, and logistics. The role focuses on building repeatable planning processes for multi-material, multi-site programs and ensuring on-time part releases.

The ideal candidate will coordinate across PMO and engineering, manage inter-factory schedules, and drive continuous improvements with data-driven reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience in planning, operations, manufacturing, supply chain, or consulting.
• Proven ability to build and maintain integrated program schedules with milestones and dependencies.
• Exposure to coordinating work across multiple production sites or material systems.
• Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and project scheduling tools.
• Strong MS Office skills and data visualization familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Partner with PMO and engineering during the proposal phase to develop detailed schedules and update them as design progresses.
• Monitor real-time progress against the schedule and trigger corrective actions with engineering leads.
• Build multi-material program plans accounting for lead times, qualification paths, and process maturity.
• Plan across multiple factories, defining scope, synchronization, and balancing capacity and materials.
• Define inter-site logistics, including transit times, packaging, and inventory placement.
• Document hand-off points and data requirements between sites and material streams.
• Collaborate with data teams to create tools for status reporting across materials, sites, and logistics lanes.
• Participate in S&OP meetings to align demand, supply, and production plans.
