Job summary

DRP Truck & Equipment is seeking a dynamic Controller to lead financial operations across multiple entities and locations in Ohio. The role focuses on month-end close, consolidated reporting, and partnering with ownership and external advisors to drive growth and efficiency.

The successful candidate will oversee accounting teams, ensure compliant financial statements, and support strategic initiatives, including budgeting, tax planning, and financing options for equipment purchases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years in accounting and financial management.
• 2+ years in a Controller, Assistant Controller, or senior accounting leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of GL accounting, revenue recognition, multi-entity accounting, and multi-location operations.
• Experience managing accounting teams.
• Strong Excel and financial reporting skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both field and office leadership.
• Ability to multitask at a high level and reprioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• High level of organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Advanced ability to solve problems and make sound decisions under pressure.
• Preferred CPA designation.
• Experience with equipment-intensive businesses.
• Experience supporting multiple legal entities.
• Experience with EBS accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close and reconcile balance sheets and P&L.
• Manage bank reconciliations and cash forecasting.
• Prepare sales tax and jurisdictional returns.
• Oversee accounting across multiple entities and locations.
• Coordinate with external CPAs, auditors, lenders, and advisors.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.
• Establish internal controls and accounting policies across programs.
