Job summary

A confidential multi-entity organization in the Lafayette area is seeking a seasoned Controller to oversee accounting and financial reporting across multiple businesses.

Reporting to the CFO, you will lead an accounting team of ~20 professionals, own the close process, and drive scalable improvements in internal controls and processes to support growth. CPA preferred; GAAP expertise required; experience with multi-entity consolidations is a plus.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in controller or accounting leadership roles.
• CPA certification strongly preferred.
• GAAP financial reporting experience.
• Experience with multi-entity consolidations and close process.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting and financial reporting across multiple businesses.
• Lead and develop an accounting team of about 20 professionals.
• Own month-end and year-end close processes.
• Prepare and present financial reports to leadership.
• Strengthen internal controls and improve accounting processes.
• Build scalable accounting function to support growth.
