Job summary

Transportation Management Group (TMG) is seeking a Controller to lead accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance across multiple entities. You will oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll, general ledger, and close processes while partnering with executives on planning and performance analysis.

Key responsibilities include revenue recognition under ASC 606, lease accounting under ASC 842, and comprehensive budgeting and audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA or equivalent preferred.
• Experience with multi-entity consolidations and financial close.

Responsibilities

• Lead accounting and financial reporting with timely monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.
• Own monthly consolidation across entities and intercompany eliminations.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for cost control.
• Manage cash flow, liquidity planning, and debt reporting.
• Oversee billing, revenue cycle, payroll, and tax compliance.
• Maintain internal controls to prevent fraud and ensure compliance.
