The role emphasizes strong leadership, experience with budgeting and forecasting, and collaboration with executives to drive growth while maintaining financial integrity and controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or related field) is required.
• 7–10 years of progressive accounting/finance experience.
• Proven leadership in financial operations and teams.
• Experience in a corporate environment within automotive/dealership sector preferred.
• Strong financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting skills.
• Experience with accounting software and financial management systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee preparation and accuracy of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal controls.
• Manage the accounting team, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluation.
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to enhance efficiency.
• Collaborate with senior management on financial strategies and growth initiatives.
• Coordinate audits with external auditors for compliance and accuracy.
• Monitor cash flow and financial risks to optimize financial position.
• Prepare reports and presentations for the board and executives.
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes.
