Job summary

Selene Finance LP seeks a dedicated collections specialist to manage delinquent loan portfolios and provide exceptional borrower service. You will handle outgoing and inbound calls, discuss repayment plans, and guide borrowers through hardship options with empathy and professionalism.

As part of a team in a fast-paced mortgage servicing environment, you will document interactions, ensure compliance with investor requirements, and strive to maximize on-time payments while maintaining high service

Qualifications

• Strong communication to discuss account status, payment expectations, and options.
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, metrics-driven call center.
• Detail-oriented documentation of borrower interactions and commitments.

Responsibilities

• Manage collection activities for an assigned loan portfolio.
• Handle inbound and outbound borrower calls to collect payments and provide service.
• Secure payments and Promise-to-Pay commitments while reducing delinquency.
• Explain delinquency status, investor requirements, and next steps to borrowers.
• Assess hardships and determine appropriate repayment or loss mitigation options.
• Educate borrowers on assistance programs and required documentation.
• Set up payment arrangements and promote ACH enrollment.
• Maintain accurate account documentation and ensure compliance.
• Meet attendance, quality, and performance goals.
