The specialist will act as the SPOC, communicate with clients and third parties, and ensure compliance with investor and internal guidelines. Strong communication, analytical skills, and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; AA preferred.
• GSE loss mitigation experience preferred, with emphasis on FHLMC and FNMA.
• Experience with mortgage servicing operations and loss mitigation processes.

Responsibilities

• Handle a portfolio of mortgage assets 90+ days delinquent and assist with loss mitigation options.
• Act as SPOC and communicate with customers, attorneys, realtors and other parties.
• Educate customers on loan modifications, short sales, deeds in lieu and other options.
• Analyze financial situations and initiate appropriate loss mitigation tools.
• Perform light skip-tracing and review title searches for lien risks.
• Meet monthly individual and team goals and KPI targets.
