Selene Holdings is a diversified financial services firm with mortgage servicing and related services. The team seeks a detail-oriented collector to manage an assigned loan portfolio, perform skip tracing, and engage borrowers via inbound and outbound calls to secure payments and arrangements.

You will assess hardships, discuss repayment options, and guide customers through required documentation and timelines while ensuring accurate record-keeping and compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education preferred.
• 2–3 years of experience in mortgage servicing, collections, call center operations, loss mitigation, or related financial services preferred.
• Strong understanding of borrower delinquency, payment resolution, and customer service best practices.
• Ability to discuss sensitive financial situations with professionalism, empathy, and confidence.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to explain account status, payment expectations, delinquency risks, and next steps.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, metrics-driven call center environment.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation of borrower interactions and payments.
• Knowledge of default areas such as Bankruptcy, Foreclosure, and REO preferred.
• Bilingual language skills are a plus.

Responsabilités

• Manage collection activities for an assigned loan portfolio, including skip tracing and outbound outreach.
• Handle borrower calls to collect payments, resolve inquiries, and provide customer service.
• Secure payments and commitments while reducing delinquency progression and account risk.
• Communicate delinquency status and investor requirements to drive resolution.
• Conduct borrower financial assessments to evaluate hardships and determine solutions.
• Discuss repayment plans, forbearance options, and loss mitigation if eligible.
• Educate borrowers on assistance programs and required documentation.
• Establish payment arrangements and promote ACH enrollment.
• Maintain accurate account documentation and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Meet attendance, quality, productivity, and performance goals.
