Job summary

New World Van Lines is seeking an OADA Military Move Specialist to manage military moves awarded through third-party bid boards and select non-military accounts. You will coordinate with Military Move Brokers and internal teams to ensure moves are planned and executed in line with established procedures and service standards.

This role requires strong organization, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills, plus proficiency with MS Office and proprietary software.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3 years experience in moving/relocation customer service, preferably military moves.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication and customer service skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office and related proprietary software.
• Ability to manage multiple awarded moves simultaneously and work with third-party vendors.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage move opportunities through third party bid boards.
• Review move details, scope, timelines and service requirements to ensure accurate bid.
• Coordinate packing, transportation, storage, delivery, and specialty services.
• Work with approved third party vendors to fulfill services.
• Escalate service issues or delays following escalation procedures.
• Ensure moves are completed on schedule and in compliance with standards.
• Support billing accuracy by confirming move completion details.
• Update planning software to reflect move status.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
