Job summary

Humana invites MBA and other advanced-degree students to join its Summer 2027 Internship Program. This immersive experience places interns in strategic projects across quality, cost strategy, care management, and operating model initiatives.

Location is primarily at Humana's headquarters in Louisville, KY, with limited Chicago opportunities. The program runs 12 weeks, May 24 to August 13, 2027, in-person full-time (40 hours/week) with visa sponsorship not provided.

Qualifications

• MBA or other advanced professional degree in progress or completed with expected graduation Spring/Summer 2028.
• Availability to work full-time for the Summer 2027 program (May 24–Aug 13, 2027).
• Willingness to work in-person 3–4 days per week at Chicago, IL; Fort Lauderdale, FL; Louisville, KY; or Nashville, TN.

Responsibilities

• Support translation of priorities into actionable plans through strategic planning, research, and process improvement.
• Contribute to performance measurement, governance readiness, and cross-functional initiatives.
• Engage with executive leaders and teams to drive quality, cost strategy, and enterprise value.
