Job summary

Adient Lakewood seeks a Materials Scheduler/Service Coordinator to plan, schedule, and track material flow across production. You will align shipments with production timelines, coordinate with suppliers, inventory teams, and production management to keep timelines intact.

Responsibilities include issuing material releases, managing demand and production schedules, and ensuring 100% on-time delivery while controlling inventories.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent knowledge in Supply Chain Management.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and specialized software.
• PC software skills and QAD knowledge preferred.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning and scheduling of materials, inventory, and flow.
• Issue material releases and manage demand, production schedules, and customer service.
• Collaborate with suppliers, customers, and internal teams to support launches and long-term needs.
• Maintain supply chain parameters to achieve on-time delivery and buffer inventory.
• Lead continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives and act as liaison between manufacturing and customers.
