Job summary

Adient is seeking a Materials Scheduler/Service Coordinator to oversee planning, scheduling, and tracking of material flow across the production process. You will partner with suppliers, customers, and internal teams to ensure materials align with production timelines and inventory goals, while maintaining the demand and production schedule and supporting new product introductions.

The role requires collaboration with engineering and manufacturing groups, strong analytical skills, and experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent knowledge in Supply Chain Management.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and specialized software.
• PC software skills and QAD knowledge preferred.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and coordinate material flow to support production timelines.
• Issue material releases and manage demand, production schedules, and customer service.
• Collaborate with customers, purchasing, production, and engineering on new launches and long-term requirements.
• Maintain supply chain parameters to achieve on-time delivery and buffer inventory variability.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and cost reduction efforts.
