Job summary

Adient plc is seeking a Master Scheduler in Warren, MI to coordinate and optimize production planning. You will manage demand, schedule materials, and collaborate with customers, purchasing, engineering and production to ensure on-time delivery and efficient inventory levels.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Supply Chain Management or equivalent, 3–5 years in materials planning/scheduling, and strong leadership and ERP/EDI/system skills to support lean manufacturing initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Plans, schedules and monitors movement of material through production cycle.
• Manages demand, production scheduling and customer service for multiple customers/products.
• Prepares weekly forecasts and S&OP data.
• Collaborates with customers, purchasing, production and engineering on new product releases and long-term needs.
• Establishes supply chain parameters to drive on-time delivery and appropriate inventory levels.
• Leads continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Supports new product/program launches.
