Hubbell Incorporated seeks a Materials Manager to oversee planning, purchasing, scheduling, and inventory at the Meramec facility, aligning demand with capacity to meet delivery commitments. You will lead a team, drive SAP-based processes, and optimize supply chain performance across production planning and procurement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years experience in materials management, supply chain, production planning, purchasing, or manufacturing operations.
• 3+ years of leadership experience managing planning, purchasing, scheduling, or materials organizations.
• Experience leading organizational transformation, departmental restructuring, or process improvement initiatives.
• Experience utilizing SAP within manufacturing environments, including MM, PP, and MRP.
• ER P implementation, deployment, or stabilization efforts experience.
• Strong understanding of production planning, inventory control, supplier management, and capacity planning.
• Experience in make-to-order (MTO) environments preferred.
• Ability to analyze ERP data into actionable decisions.
• Strong leadership, communication, and change management skills.
• APICS/ASCM certifications (CPIM, CSCP, or related) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team consisting of Production Planning/Scheduling and Purchasing personnel.
• Utilize SAP MM and PP functionality to manage material availability and support production requirements.
• Oversee daily MRP review processes and resolve planning and supply chain exceptions.
• Coordinate production schedules with manufacturing operations to ensure material availability and on-time delivery.
• Responsible for inventory levels, inventory accuracy, and inventory turns.
• Establish planning parameters including lead times, reorder points, safety stock, and master data integrity.
• Partner with suppliers to improve delivery performance and mitigate supply chain risks.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on inventory optimization and process efficiency.
• Champion SAP process adoption and drive organizational changes.
• Analyze capacity constraints and customer demand changes to develop proactive plans.
• Monitor KPIs including schedule attainment, inventory performance, and supplier delivery.
