Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated is seeking a Production Planner to schedule materials, coordinate with suppliers, and ensure production plans align with customer demand. You will monitor raw material availability, capacity, and inventory to keep production flowing smoothly.

You will work closely with production, purchasing, and customer service teams, leveraging ERP systems and Excel to analyze data, resolve bottlenecks, and drive continuous improvements in planning processes.

Qualifications

• Experience in production planning and/or material planning in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• ERP systems experience; SAP experience would be helpful but not required.
• Proficient in Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement production schedules based on the availability of raw materials, production capacity, and customer demand.
• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and optimal inventory levels.
• Monitor inventory levels to identify potential shortages or bottlenecks in the supply chain.
• Monitor production performance and adjust schedules to maintain optimal production flow.
• Work closely with production, purchasing, and customer service teams to ensure alignment with customer needs and optimized inventory.
• Continuously improve production planning processes to ensure efficiency.
