Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related position is required.
• 5–10 years of directly related experience or training.
• Experience with planning and inventory control is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Draws up master schedule to meet shipping dates.
• Plans and schedules workflow for departments.
• Confers with supervisors on project status.
• Revise production schedules due to changes or shortages.
• Expedites operations to meet deadlines.
• Maintains control of orders, amendments, and shipping notices.
• Ensure on-schedule delivery at negotiated price and quality.
• Analyze specs and capacity to determine resources.
• Plan fabrication and assembly sequences for production workers.
• Prepare material lists, tools, and equipment.
• Prepare purchase orders for materials and equipment.
• Coordinate with Programs Department on product timeline.
• Be available evenings/weekends as needed to reach goals.
