Job summary

Qualifications

• 3+ years of purchasing, planning, manufacturing, or supply chain experience.
• Experience using ERP/MRP systems in a manufacturing environment (SAP preferred).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production and material plans based on demand forecasts, customer orders, and manufacturing schedules.
• Issue and maintain Production Work Orders.
• Review MRP messages and ensure material availability.
• Monitor inventory levels and adjust planning parameters to optimize supply/demand alignment.
• Coordinate with production teams to resolve material shortages and schedule changes.
• Support capacity planning by balancing material availability with manufacturing requirements.
• Create and manage purchase orders for raw materials, tooling, and indirect supplies.
• Maintain supplier delivery schedules and expedite orders when required.
• Negotiate pricing, lead times, and delivery commitments with suppliers.
• Monitor supplier performance related to quality, delivery, responsiveness, and cost.
• Ensure purchase orders are accurate and comply with procurement policies.
