Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated in Goleta, CA is seeking a Materials Planner to support the manufacturing process, including build/test areas, work cells, labs, and departments. You will schedule, receive, inspect, kit, move, issue, and package materials to meet internal and external commitments.

Responsibilities emphasize accuracy, safety, and efficient flow of materials through production, with a focus on meeting customer requirements and maintaining traceability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a Manufacturing and/or Material environment – Desired
• Ability to plan, prioritize, and coordinate material requirements to support production schedules and customer commitments
• Experience with Materials Requirement Planning – Required
• Experience with MES Systems – Desired
• Ability to effectively communicate in English, including reading, writing, and speaking
• Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
• Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time
• Must be able to lift 40 lbs., unassisted

Responsibilities

• Material Movement: label, stage, count, and issue materials in support of schedules
• Materials Planning: Plan, prioritize, and coordinate material requirements to support production schedules, customer commitments, and timely movement of work through manufacturing
• Data Entry: maintain documentation and product traceability and system integrity
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work environment, including adherence to 5S protocols
