Job summary

AeroVironment is seeking a Materials Planning Analyst for our Albuquerque, NM site. The analyst will support inventory management, production floor execution, and risk mitigation across programs.

Responsibilities include maintaining schedules, generating material work orders, and coordinating with ERP systems and suppliers. This role requires a Bachelor's degree and 3–5 years in supply chain or related fields, with strong collaboration and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 3–5 years in Supply Chain, Engineering, or Project Management.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) in manufacturing.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to work independently and under limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Maintain program production schedules with master schedules.
• Create work orders for material to be kitted for manufacturing.
• Communicate material lead times and inventory risk.
• Coordinate with support organizations for continuity across databases.
• Collaborate with engineers to optimize production routing.
• Monitor procurement metrics and address issues.
• Track work in process and update part/material status.
• Coordinate raw material post-processing with outside vendors.
• Resolve discrepancies to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Prioritize and expedite production activities to avoid delays.
