Job summary

Aerospace Dynamics International, Inc. (ADI), a PCC division, seeks a Sr Planner to manage material flow and production scheduling in Valencia, CA. You will align demand with manufacturing capacity, work with Master Scheduler, and ensure customer requirements and milestones are met.

Responsibilities include releasing work orders, maintaining planning reports, and driving continuous improvement in planning processes. APICS certification is preferred; a BA/BS in a related field is required.

Qualifications

• Fluent and proficient in MRP logic, scheduling logic, and BOMs/routing.
• General ability to read blueprints.
• Team player with strong judgment and analytical skills; able to lead.
• Intermediate–advanced MS Office; strong ERP planning tools proficiency.
• Good organizational and multitasking skills; able to communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Plan production work orders based on MRP requirements and customer specs.
• Release work orders to production and prepare shop floor packets.
• Reschedule open orders to reflect demand and capacity.
• Maintain status reports and lines of balance; update planning data.
• Identify shortages and coordinate with buyers/planners to resolve.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address constraints to on-time delivery.
