Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Materials Planner (Buyer) in Charlotte, NC, to ensure a reliable, on-time flow of materials across production lines and service operations. You will manage the full lifecycle of material planning, place and maintain purchase orders, optimize supply, and collaborate with suppliers to deliver quality materials when needed.

The role involves engineering change coordination, minimizing waste, and driving continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 3+ years’ experience in production/manufacturing environment.
• 3+ years purchasing experience and managing suppliers.
• 2+ years with MRP/ERP, JIT, or Kanban.

Mansioni

• Plan and manage purchased parts and service parts to meet production schedules.
• Place, maintain, and adjust purchase orders; update ERP data.
• Monitor inventory levels and material flow; make proactive decisions.
• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery and resolve issues.
• Facilitate engineering changes (ECNs) by coordinating dates and BOMs.
• Support cross-functional problem-solving including AP discrepancies.
• Analyze planning data and prepare monthly/management reports.
• Represent Production Planning in cross-functional meetings.
