Ingersoll Rand Inc. in Charlotte, NC seeks a Materials Planner (Buyer) to ensure a reliable flow of materials for production and service operations.

You will manage the full lifecycle of material planning, place and manage purchase orders, optimize supply, and collaborate with suppliers to deliver materials when needed, while supporting engineering changes and cost reduction initiatives. You will work cross-functionally to solve supply chain challenges, enhance planning efficiency, and

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3+ years’ experience in a production/manufacturing environment.
• 3+ years purchasing experience and supplier management.
• 2+ years in cost reduction targets and project implementation.
• 2+ years experience with MRP/ERP, JIT, or Kanban.

Mansioni

• Plan and manage purchased parts and service parts to meet production schedules.
• Place, maintain, and adjust purchase orders; ensure ERP data accuracy.
• Monitor inventory levels and material flow; make proactive decisions.
• Collaborate with suppliers for on-time delivery and issue resolution.
• Coordinate ECNs, BOM updates, and inventory transitions to minimize cost.
