You will learn to read production schedules and manage inventory reports to ensure availability and prioritization, while maintaining on-hand accuracy. You will collaborate with warehouses, vendors, and freight carriers to expedite shipments and resolve discrepancies, and oversee SCARs to drive corrective actions and dispositions.

Qualifikationen

• 3 to 5 years purchasing experience.
• Retail, Packaging, or Industrial Distribution inventory management experience.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to analyze large data sets.
• Proficient with Excel; AS400 experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Read production schedules and inventory reports to determine availability, quantity, and priority.
• Ensure accuracy of on-hand inventory.
• Manage Open Purchase Order (PO) report and push/pull POs in the plant.
• Coordinate with Warehouse on inbound status and inform management.
• Prepare and place POs for inventory replenishment.
• Work with vendors to expedite shipments and resolve issues.
• Coordinate with freight carriers for on-time delivery and resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Manage Supplier Corrective Action Reports (SCARs) including root cause and dispositions.
