Siemens Energy is seeking a Material Planner to own end-to-end inventory planning and coordination across multiple manufacturing areas. You will balance availability, optimization, and financial accuracy within a structured SIOP framework.

The role requires 5+ years in inventory planning in manufacturing, strong SAP experience, and advanced Excel skills, with cross-functional collaboration across Scheduling, Procurement, Finance, and Operations. Legal work authorization in the U.S. is required.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of inventory planning, materials planning, or supply chain operations in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of inventory control, materials planning, and MRP processes; hands-on SAP or similar ERP experience; Excel proficiency.
• Proven analytical, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective cross-functional communication with Scheduling, Procurement, Finance, and Operations.

Mansioni

• Partner with Scheduling to determine material inventory levels to meet production targets and future demand.
• Collaborate with Procurement to align material ordering with production schedules.
• Estimate material and alloy requirements for short- and long-term plans while minimizing excess inventory.
• Develop and execute strategies to reduce slow-moving and obsolete stock to improve inventory turns.
• Ensure inventory accuracy between physical stock and SAP through cycle counts and audits.
• Reconcile inventory accounts with Finance and support audits under SIOP and internal controls.
