Job summary

Siemens Healthineers is seeking a Buyer/Planner to ensure uninterrupted supply of raw materials, components, and services for manufacturing. The role combines planning, procurement, and supplier management to maintain material availability while optimizing inventory.

You will partner with manufacturing, quality, engineering, and procurement on production schedules, engineering changes, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, operations, engineering, or business.
• 5+ years of purchasing, materials planning, production planning, or supply chain operations.
• Experience using ERP systems such as SAP; proficiency in SAP S/4HANA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage materials planning and inventory for production; ensure continuous material availability.
• Convert requisitions to orders and monitor supplier commitments and on-time delivery.
• Collaborate with Supplier Quality and Strategic Procurement; support supplier onboarding and compliance.
• Coordinate material readiness for NPI projects and engineering changes; manage inventory disposition.
• Analyze planning, inventory, and supplier performance metrics and support cost reduction.
