Job summary

Samsung SDI America Inc. is seeking a Materials Planner in Michigan to manage inbound/outbound scheduling, production planning, and engineering change coordination. You will work with SAP/WMS, PFEP, and master production planning to ensure seamless supply chain operations.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years in materials planning with ERP/MRP proficiency, including part changes within logistics. This position is based in Auburn Hills, MI and involves coordinating with HQ teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of materials planning experience using an ERP / MRP system.
• Working Knowledge and Implementation of ERP / MRP system.
• Working Knowledge of part change management within a logistics organization.

Responsibilities

• Inbound and outbound scheduling of raw components and finished goods, production scheduling and part change coordination.
• Inbound scheduling for production utilizing SAP/WMS.
• Verify schedules with suppliers and track materials to the assembly plant.
• Outbound scheduling: verify customer schedules and ship schedules to production floor.
• Maintain PFEP (Plan for Every Part).
• Translate customer demands into a master planning schedule using SAP.
• Coordinate engineering part changes / Change Management.
• Synchronize enclosure delivery with master production plan.
• Lead planning meetings with stakeholders to resolve issues.
