Job summary

Ikoniq, a Rochester-area manufacturer, is seeking a Procurement Specialist to source materials, negotiate with suppliers, and manage purchase orders for custom projects. This role supports production schedules and cost control across engineering, production and project teams.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in purchasing within manufacturing, strong organizational/analytical skills, and experience with vendor relations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of purchasing or procurement experience.
• Manufacturing environment experience.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Experience working with vendors and suppliers.
• Proficiency with Google Suite & Monday, or ability to learn quickly.

Responsibilities

• Source materials, components, and services
• Issue and manage purchase orders
• Develop and maintain supplier relationships
• Negotiate pricing and lead times
• Monitor inventory levels and material requirements
• Coordinate closely with warehouse operations, engineering, production, and project management teams
• Resolve supplier quality and delivery issues
• Track procurement metrics and cost-saving initiatives
