Job summary

The ideal candidate will be proactive, results-driven, with strong communication skills and at least five years of experience in purchasing or supply chain management within manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing and procurement of raw materials, including rubber compounds and production machinery.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery terms to achieve cost savings and quality standards.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and adherence to budget requirements.
• Track order status, delivery timelines, and inventory levels to prevent production disruptions.
• Monitor inventory and forecast material needs in coordination with production teams.
• Collaborate with Quality Control to ensure materials meet specifications and quality standards.
• Prepare regular reports on purchasing activities, costs, and budget variances.
