Job summary

SRC Industrial in Springfield, MO is seeking a Buyer and Materials Planning Coordinator to coordinate purchasing, scheduling, and inventory control across multiple functions. The role focuses on preventing shortages, reducing pricing discrepancies, and managing supplier risk to protect production and cost performance.

The position requires strong analytical skills, ERP/MRP experience (Infor CSI/SyteLine) and Power BI proficiency. It is a full-time, on-site role offering comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• 5+ years experience in warehousing, scheduling, manufacturing, inventory control, material planning, or purchasing.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize urgent work and communicate clearly across departments and with suppliers.
• Strong Excel and data-analysis skills; able to use data to identify material or inventory risks.
• ERP/MRP experience preferred; Infor CSI/SyteLine and Power BI experience preferred.
• Purchasing experience is preferred but not required; able to develop purchasing skills quickly.
• Ability to work effectively with Warehouse, Scheduling, Production, Engineering, Accounting, and Purchasing teams.
