Job summary

Encoder Products Company in Idaho is seeking a Buyer to manage purchasing and material planning for manufacturing. You will work with approved suppliers, issue purchase orders, monitor inventory, and help optimize stock levels while ensuring on-time delivery.

Responsibilities include evaluating supplier performance, negotiating pricing, and maintaining accurate ERP/MRP data. This onsite role offers full benefits and a standard day shift.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in purchasing or related supply-chain roles preferred, with MRP experience.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, or related field is a plus.
• Experience in motion control industrial purchasing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and communicate supply chain risks, including supplier capacity, lead times, availability and continuity of supply.
• Build long-term relationships with preferred suppliers.
• Procure customized items and evaluate supplier quotes.
