Innospec Inc. in Englewood, CO is seeking a Buyer/Planner to execute raw material purchase orders, plan and schedule builds, and assist with inventory control. You will manage supplier relations and optimize material availability to support production and delivery targets.

Responsibilities include maintaining MRP data, coordinating subcontracted materials, tracking orders, and contributing to cross-functional supplier initiatives. SAP IBP experience and APICS certification are preferred.

Competenze

• 5+ years of Production Planning and/or Material Planning experience.
• Experience with SAP (SAP IBP preferred).

Mansioni

• Manage complex material flows across multiple raw materials, intermediate blends, locations, and distribution points to ensure product availability.
• Analyze and maintain MRP requirements, including min/max levels, economic order quantities, lead times, batch sizes, and safety stock targets.
• Convert MRP signals into actionable purchasing and planning decisions to support production and forecast demand.
• Coordinate subcontracted materials and services to ensure uninterrupted supply.
• Track, monitor, expedite, and defer purchase orders; communicate risks and impacts to stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain production schedules, monitor work-in-process, and ensure delivery requirements are met.
• Release and receive work orders to support manufacturing operations.
• Participate in cross-functional teams responsible for supplier onboarding, setup, and performance monitoring.
• Analyze, evaluate, and control inventory to maintain optimal levels and support targets.
• Maintain accurate planning and item master data to ensure system integrity.
• Resolve variances and capacity constraints by coordinating across functions to optimize supply.
