SRC Holdings Corporation is seeking a Buyer and Materials Planning Coordinator for SRC Industrial in Springfield, MO. This full-time role focuses on purchasing and inventory planning to safeguard production, customer commitments, and cost performance.

You will collaborate with Scheduling, Warehouse, Production, Accounting, and Engineering teams to identify shortages, supplier risks, and pricing discrepancies, ensuring timely material readiness and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in warehousing, scheduling, manufacturing, inventory control, material planning, or purchasing.
• Strong Excel and data-analysis skills; able to use data to identify and explain material or inventory risks.
• ERP/MRP experience preferred; Infor CSI/SyteLine and Power BI experience preferred.
• Purchasing experience is preferred but not required; demonstrate ability to develop purchasing skills quickly.
• Ability to work effectively with Warehouse, Scheduling, Production, Engineering, Accounting, and Purchasing teams.

POSITION SUMMARY:

This purchasing position will be working with Scheduling, Warehouse, Production, Accounting, Engineering, and suppliers to proactively connect buying with Scheduling, Warehouse, Accounting and Engineering.

The focus will be purchasing and inventory planning to identify shortages, inventory discrepancies, supplier risks, and pricing discrepancies before they affect production, customer commitments, or cost performance.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• 5+ Years experience in warehousing, scheduling, manufacturing, inventory control, material planning, or purchasing.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize urgent work, follow through on commitments, and communicate clearly across departments and with suppliers.
• Strong Excel and data-analysis skills; able to use data to identify and explain material or inventory risks.
• ERP/MRP experience preferred; Infor CSI/SyteLine and Power BI experience preferred.
• Purchasing experience is preferred but not required; successful candidate must demonstrate the ability and interest to develop purchasing skills quickly.
• Ability to work effectively with Warehouse, Scheduling, Production, Engineering, Accounting, and Purchasing teams.

Work is performed mostly in a controlled atmosphere. Some exposure to harsh conditions—such as: dust, fumes, noise, and varying temperatures—for short periods of time is possible. This employee will be required to demonstrate continued knowledge of Haz/Com regulations and requirements. All employees are required to follow safety standards and wear all personal protective equipment in designated areas.

Physical Demands:

Standing 20%, sitting, 60%, walking 20%. This position requires occasional physical effort including lifting, pushing and pulling material weighing up to 20 pounds. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential function of this job. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand, use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, and talk and hear.
