Job summary

Mainspring Energy, Inc. is seeking a Buyer/Planner to manage materials and suppliers from quote to pay, ensuring uninterrupted supply and cost control.

This role integrates shop-floor engagement with cross-functional collaboration across production, engineering, logistics, and NPI. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in production control or supply chain planning, strong data analysis, and proficiency with ERP systems and Google tools.

Qualifications

• Experience in production control, material demand planning, or supply chain management is required.
• Ability to administer RFQs, negotiate with suppliers and support cost reduction.
• Proven data-driven status updates and proactive communication with teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage purchase orders, releases, and schedules to meet production and service requirements.
• Translate demand forecasts and MRP signals into executable supply plans.
• Monitor inventory, lead times, and capacity constraints.
• Ensure material availability while optimizing inventory and working capital.
• Serve as primary contact for assigned suppliers and communicate priorities clearly.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve supply disruptions when needed.
