Job summary

Griffith Foods is seeking a Material Planner to manage inventory and ensure timely, in-full delivery of raw materials that support production schedules and service goals.

You will drive availability via MRP, manage POs, and collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to prevent shortages and optimize inventory levels. This onsite role in Alsip, IL offers growth in supply chain planning and vendor management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or Engineering required.
• 3+ years ERP and MRP experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 3+ years experience in a Supply Chain environment.
• Willingness to work onsite in ALSIP, IL 5 days per week.
• Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Drive raw material availability by analyzing MRP requirements and managing purchase orders.
• Partner with Scheduling, Production, Quality, and suppliers to align material supply with plans.
• Identify, expedite, and resolve shortages to minimize disruptions.
• Optimize inventory by monitoring parameters and slowing-moving stock.
• Lead reporting on PO management, inventory health, and ingredient changes.
• Develop supply plans and monitor supplier performance for reliability.
• Resolve supplier service issues and support performance reviews.
• Analyze supplier metrics to identify improvements.
