Job summary

Griffith Foods is seeking a Material Planner to manage inventory and ensure timely, in-full delivery of raw materials supporting production schedules and customer service goals. You will gain exposure to demand planning, supplier collaboration, and operations within a global, growing food-systems business.

This onsite role in Alsip, IL requires 3+ years ERP/MRP experience and a Bachelor’s in Supply Chain or Engineering, with US work authorization. Travel to nearby locations may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
• 3+ years ERP and MRP experience in manufacturing.
• 3+ years in a Supply Chain environment.
• Onsite work in ALSIP, IL five days a week.
• Candidates must have unrestricted US work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Drive raw material availability by analyzing MRP requirements and managing purchase orders.
• Partner with Scheduling, Production, Quality, and suppliers to align material supply with plans.
• Identify and resolve material shortages to minimize disruptions and maintain service levels.
• Optimize inventory performance and manage at-risk and slow-moving stock.
• Lead reporting for PO management, inventory health, shortages, and ingredient changes.
• Develop supply plans and monitor supplier performance for reliable availability.
• Resolve supplier service issues and support vendor performance reviews.
• Analyze supplier metrics and history to identify improvements.
