Griffith Foods is hiring a Material Planner to manage inventory levels and ensure on-time, in-full delivery of raw materials that support production schedules and service goals. This role offers exposure to demand planning, supplier collaboration, and inventory optimization in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain or Engineering, 3+ years ERP/MRP experience, and is onsite in ALSIP, IL with US work authorization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain or Engineering.
• 3+ years ERP and MRP experience in manufacturing.
• 3+ years in a Supply Chain environment.
• Onsite in ALSIP, IL, 5 days per week.
• US work authorization required; visa sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Drive raw material availability by analyzing MRP, managing POs, and optimizing inventory levels.
• Partner with Scheduling, Production, Quality, and suppliers to align material supply with production plans.
• Identify, expedite, and resolve material shortages to minimize production disruptions.
• Monitor planning parameters; manage at-risk and slow-moving inventory.
• Lead reporting on purchase orders, inventory health, shortages, and ingredient changes.
• Develop supply plans and monitor supplier performance to ensure material availability.
• Resolve supplier service issues and support vendor reviews.
• Analyze supplier metrics and order history to identify improvements.
