Job summary

Responsibilities

• This role manages the end-item Master Production Schedule across the planning horizon inside the ERP system and in collaboration with other departments to optimize service and cost.
• Creates the MPS inside the Planning Time-Fence into a daily/weekly schedule of ERP Firm Planned Orders/Works Orders to balance demand and supply.
• Uses capacity planning processes to ensure the whole schedule is do-able.
• Ensures there are never any Past Due orders in the Master Production Schedule through dynamic replanning.
• Understands dynamic lead times and order quantities and routings to support customer demand.
• Collates and reports manufacturing and supplier performance weekly and monthly.
• Seeks to optimize customer service, manufacturing resources and inventory levels.
• Identifies and resolves conflicts involving material/capacity to support Order Promising integrity.
• Maintains end-item schedule as the input to Material Requirements Planning.
