Job summary

TT Electronics in Greater Cleveland, Ohio is seeking a Production Planner to manage the end-item Master Production Schedule within the ERP system and coordinate with multiple departments to optimize service, cost and inventory. The role ensures commitments to customers are met and production plans are executable day-to-day.

The ideal candidate has 5–8 years in a manufacturing environment, with a technical degree and strong proficiency in MRP/ERP (SAP preferred), Excel and PowerPoint.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in manufacturing environment.
• Minimum two-year technical degree and at least five years of relevant experience.
• Experience with MRP/ERP systems; SAP preferred.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Strong analytical thinker with problem solving skills.
• US Citizenship required due to contracts with the Department of Defense

Responsibilities

• Create responsive schedules and operate end-item level MPS from ERP system.
• Develop daily/weekly schedule of Firm Planned Orders/Works Orders to balance demand and supply.
• Use capacity planning processes to ensure the schedule is feasible.
• Ensure no Past Due orders in MPS through dynamic replanning.
• Leverage APOS system to support demand and lead times.
• Collect and report manufacturing and supplier performance weekly and monthly.
• Seek to optimize customer service, resources and inventory levels.
• Identify and resolve conflicts involving material or capacity availability.
• Maintain end-item schedule as input to Material Requirements Planning in ERP.
