Job summary

SWCA Environmental Consultants seeks a Marketing and Proposal Coordinator to coordinate pursuits, proposals, and business development, partnering with technical teams to craft client-focused narratives across the Southwest region.

This full-time, salaried role supports the pursuit lifecycle from planning to submission, with a focus on strategic content, collaboration, and proposal efficiency. Flexible remote/hybrid/work location is available.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating or leading proposals, pursuits, or business development in technical services.
• Strong understanding of pursuit lifecycle from planning to submission.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading to produce client-focused content.
• Experience with AI-enabled research tools and proposal automation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead marketing and pursuit projects from start to finish under supervision.
• Develop pursuit strategy and content with market research insights.
• Collaborate with leaders; manage priorities and deadlines.
• Mentor junior staff and guide new team members.
• Ensure compliance with legal and quality standards in materials.
• Write non-technical content for pursuits and marketing materials.
• Follow federal, tribal, state, local regulations and internal standards.
