Job summary

SWCA Environmental Consultants is seeking a Marketing and Proposal Coordinator to join our Southwest team. This full-time, salaried role offers flexibility to work remotely, in a hybrid capacity, or from an SWCA office.

Priority will be given to candidates in Pacific or Mountain time zones with occasional travel for on-site collaboration. The role spans the entire pursuit lifecycle, from capture planning and strategy to proposal development and post-submission lessons learned, ensuring

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating or leading proposals, pursuits, or business development efforts in a technical professional services environment.
• Strong understanding of the pursuit lifecycle from planning through content development, reviews, production, and submission.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills to turn input from multiple contributors into client-focused content.
• Strong project management, organization, and attention to detail to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Confidence, initiative, and a collaborative approach when working with professionals to facilitate discussions and move pursuit teams forward.
• Advanced Microsoft Word skills and proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign.

Responsibilities

• Leads pursuits, proposals, and marketing campaigns from start to finish.
• Demonstrates expertise in pursuits strategy, development, and market research guidance.
• Supports leaders in strategy development with data-driven insights.
• Delegates tasks while providing appropriate oversight to Marketing Specialists.
• Ensures all marketing activities meet legal standards and SWCA quality requirements.
• Provides guidance and mentoring to junior staff and new team members.
• Writes non-technical content for pursuits and marketing materials.
• Follows regulations and company standards across campaigns.
• Performs related work as assigned.
