Job summary

Inpro is seeking a Market Development Manager to drive growth in the Industrial Manufacturing and Data Center markets. You will identify opportunities, connect with decision-makers, and position Inpro’s solutions to meet project needs.

From discovery to close, you’ll collaborate with sales teams to develop opportunities, expand product opportunities, and monitor market trends to refine strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.
• Minimum five years of successful sales experience, preferably in Data Center or Industrial Manufacturing.
• Proactive, self-directed approach within a collaborative sales team.
• Strong relationship-building, listening, questioning, negotiation, and closing skills.
• Ability to navigate complex customer needs and resolve conflicts.
• Excellent presentation and written communication; tailored messaging for stakeholders.
• Strong organization and time management to balance prospecting and account development.
• Proficient with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce, plus general office tools.
• Adaptive mindset to changing priorities and company growth

Responsibilities

• Develop new business by identifying and qualifying opportunities.
• Build strategic relationships with architects, contractors, designers, and end-users.
• Create market-specific sales strategies addressing timelines and technical requirements.
• Drive opportunities forward with a robust pipeline from discovery to close.
• Collaborate with Outside, Inside, Divisional Representatives, and Sales Managers.
• Deliver customized presentations and provide technical support and recommendations.
• Expand product opportunities across target accounts and launches.
• Turn market insights into action by monitoring competitors and standards.
• Track performance using Salesforce and Dodge/ConstructConnect; report progress monthly
